CWAC Girls Sweep 1000 On Night One At Senior State

CWAC swimmers swept the top 3 spots in the girls 1000 freestyle on the opening night of action at the Illinois Senior State meet.  Joy Cheng took top honors and set at new 15-16 team record.  Liv Cremer and Brooklyn Johnson finished second and third respectively.  Charlie Cali posted the highest boys finish in the 1000 taking fourth.

Scoring swims include Mariposa Arroyo (9th) and Joey Dumm (16th) while Samantha Mondrus and Ben Del Cid each took 19th.

Action continues Friday through Sunday with prelims in the morning and finals at 5:30 PM.
